More F1 in Schools success for Trinity

More F1 in Schools success for Trinity

Last week, 36 of the best teams from around Australia gathered at Bosch Australia to compete at the 2019 National Finals. Trinity was represented by three teams:

  • Team Evolve (Adam Blunt – Year 11, Stuart Bryce – Year 11, Nabil Hassine – Year 11, Charles Palfreeman – Year 10) were crowned National Champions in the Professional Class, and were also awarded Grand Prix Race, Fastest Lap and Best Manufactured Car.
  • Team Catalyst (Thomas Arbon, Lachlan Geier, Owen Grayson, Andrew Greig, all Year 10) placed fifth in the Professional Class, and were also awarded Knockout Champions.
  • Team Ayaks (James Blanch – Year 9, Tim Crichton – Year 9, Alexander Liu – Year 9, Liam Moran – Year 9) placed sixth in the Development Class, and were also awarded Grand Prix Race and Knockout Champions.

Andrew Greig of Team Catalyst was presented with the CAMS Motor Sport Award which includes a Sandown Racecourse driving experience.

Team Evolve have now been invited to represent Australia at the F1 in Schools World Finals to be held in Abu Dhabi late November 2019.
